Our Policies

Appointments and Cancellations:

When you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hrs prior to your appointment, or do not show up for your appointment, you prevent someone else from seeking treatment. You also place a financial burden on the practice. As a small practice, we can’t stay in business and provide care, if patients repetitively miss, reschedule at the last minute, or continuously cancel appointments. We hope that you understand why we have to put this policy in place.

Multiple reminders, in different modalities, are sent to you to remind you of your upcoming appointment. If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require at least 24-hour notice (weekends not included). If your appointment is on a Monday, the cancellation must be made by the same hour on the preceding Friday. We do offer video/online appointments.

If you do not show up to your appointment, you will not get any refills until you see your provider.

  • We charge a $75 fee for any appointments canceled within 24 hours of the time originally slotted.
  • We charge a full session for no-shows: existing patients: $100, new patients $150.

 

We schedule appointments in advance, determining a cadence that aligns with your goals, treatment requirements, and our mutual availability. Payments for each appointment are processed through Alma or Headway using debit or credit cards or ACH transfers.

You have the flexibility to cancel appointments in advance without incurring charges, provided that you notify our office at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. For last-minute cancellations or appointment no-shows, a fee will apply. The specific fee amount is subject to our office policy regarding cancellation cutoff periods and associated fees, which will not exceed the cost of the session itself.

$200 (up to 25 minutes)

Superbills

If we are not in-network for your insurance, we can provide superbills which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you have PPO. For more information, we recommend asking your insurance about out-of-network benefits or reimbursements.

No Surprise Act

In compliance with the “No Surprises Act” starting on January 1, 2022 “Good Faith Estimates” are available upon request and will be provided to all patients within 3 business days.
